Product Info: — What You Can Expect —Sandboarding in Port Stephens is a must-do on everyone's Australia travel bucket list. Hop on the shuttle bus at the meeting at Birubu Beach in Anna Bay, then get ready for more than a hour of excitement. You will board a custom-built off-road vehicles for the short, bouncy ride into the largest moving sand mass in the southern hemisphere. The dunes stretch 32 kilometres and can reach over 40 to 50 metres high — that’s like a 10 storey building!Once in the dunes, the operator team will give you a rundown on sandboarding and how to use our handmade custom designed boards for maximum speed and safety. Then it's off to the races! Climb to the top of the dunes, jump on your sandboard, slide on down, then repeat! The instructors are always on hand to help and answer any questions about sandboarding Port Stephens or the dunes and to make sure you have maximum fun!When you are done just jump back aboard the 4WD buses to be taken back to the Birubi Beach starting point.It’s an amazing experience for everyone, no matter your age.— Tour Info —Duration: 1.5 hours approximateDeparture: Sandboarding shuttle buses run every half an hour from Anna Bay to hillReturn: Please advise the instructor when you have enough fun on the dunes and are ready to go back.
